It was as cold as I can remember it ever being in Lake Tahoe for New Year's Eve 2015. My cell phone read 13 degrees when I left at 11:30 and had dropped to barely 10F by the time I got home. Though there were an extra 25,000 people in town for Snow Globe, they were all on the other side of town so it was actually unusually quiet at Stateline this year.
